After an extensive renovation, the Children’s Garden at the Atlanta Botanical Garden is now open with exciting new features and familiar favorites!
Renamed the Lou Glenn Children’s Garden, the site honors longtime Garden supporter Lou Glenn, who was instrumental in developing the original Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Children’s Garden when it opened at the botanical garden in 1999 – one of the first of its kind in the country.
Craft a masterpiece at the water “painting” wall. Build to your heart’s content in the balsa wood construction area. Dance to the beat of your own drum with our outdoor instruments. The Garden also has new nature play activities and classes. A new position, a full-time Educational Horticulturist, engages children in small gardening activities.
